Dr. Chick Weisse has been nothing but kind and helpful to us as we navigate our elderly dog’s liver mass. He performed a very cutting edge chemoembolization procedure to help extend the life of our beloved dog. Dr. Weisse is at the top of his field but he is so humble and compassionate. He explained everything in layman’s terms and never pressured us one way or another. Instead, he gave us all of the facts based on his extensive research and study history with similar cases, and helped us make the most informed decision. Even months after our procedure he still checks in and texts. He even told us to have our local vets contact him anytime our dog had issues (and he’s had a few hospitalizations since). The fact that he’s willing to help on our dog’s case even on weekends or evenings or days off, speaks volumes to the type of human being and vet he is. We can never thank him enough for all that he’s done for our dog Duffy and the endless phone support for us and continuing to consult with our vets to get Duffy the best outcome. We can never repay him for his continued kindness and concern for our dog, even months after his treatment. Thank you Dr. Weisse.
